My last post of 2017 is a special announcement. As of February 2018 I will be going self-employed and taking Primal Nature to the masses.
I have gained lots of experience over the 9 years working at the wonderful Fairlawns health club and spa where I have loved working, but the time is right to go it alone. So what am I doing?
I am going to continue with my one to one nutrition advice visiting clients at home but also I now will have a base at the new Bicicielo bicycle heaven in mere green Sutton Coldfield. I can also offer one to one personal training and movement sessions from the shop and natural movement sessions in the nearby park.
My latest addition to the Primal Nature venture is Run Primal. I intend to grow a community of like minded people and take everyone out on a run with a difference. Meeting a Bicicielo we will all depart on a pre-planned route incorporating natural movement at random intervals. This could be crawling, climbing, rolling, jumping, carrying or throwing all helping develop a well-rounded athlete and more
importantly having fun at the same time.
These types of sessions not only help improve your overall fitness but they also break up the monotony of just running making it more interesting and less repetitive to your joints. I will also be recommending people to consider making the switch to more minimal footwear (a subject i have spoke about in previous posts) and helping with the slow transition.
